 Launched 18 months ago by Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, KIK Cola recently won the prestigious Gold Award at the Lanka Star Awards 2012 for its unique bottle shape. Conceptualized by a world-renown designer, the award-winning KIK Cola bottle was created based on in-depth consumer research which led to ground breaking insight and, ultimately, a very distinct bottle.
KIK Cola is available in 200ml and 300ml glass bottles of this unique bottle shape and is enjoyed by millions of consumers. In addition to the glass bottle, KIK Cola is also available in a slim can of 250ml, 500ml and 1.5l PET. Its latest sugar and calorie free edition, KIK Light, available in 500ml PET, has also become a firm favorite of the lifestyle conscious Lankan.
The Lanka Star Awards, a precursor to the prestigious Asia Star and World Star Awards, organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging, is aimed at awarding excellence in Sri Lankan packaging. The contest is intended to recognize the highest achievements of Sri Lanka’s current packaging technology and the year’s best packaging is selected in keeping with innovation in packaging material, concepts, techniques, design, logistics and environmental suitability.
