Alulanka Launches

Alulanka (Pvt) Ltd., Sri Lanka’s pioneer in building finishes, unveiled their new, state-of-the-art tempering plant, ‘Grand Tempered’ at their Bulugahagoda, Ganemulla manufacturing premises recently. Equipped with ultra-modern technology this new plant houses some of the latest, high-tech machinery, including one of the largest combination glass flat/bending tempering furnaces in the country.

Imported from glass processing/production line experts SOUTHTECH in China, this modern horizontal roller hearth can load large scale flat glass of dimensions 4200mm x 2440mm, and bend glass panels of dimensions 3600mm x 2400mm. This dual-functioning unit expedites the heating and cooling process of glass tempering, enabling Alulanka to produce a larger number of high quality tempered glass panels at a faster time to market.
