B777-300

Emirates, the world’s best airline according to TripAdvisor 2017, will be adding an extra flight to its service between Dubai and Algiers, making it a daily service from 13th December 2017.

The launch of the additional flight will complement Emirates’ current six flights a week, and further boost inbound and outbound passenger traffic and cargo flows between Algeria and Dubai, and Emirates’ worldwide network.

The new service will operate every Wednesday with an Emirates Boeing 777-300, in a three class configuration offering 8 seats in First Class, 42 in Business Class and 310 in Economy Class.

“In line with healthy commercial demand, we are pleased to introduce an additional service to Algiers which will offer our customers even more choice and convenience to connect to Dubai and onward destinations particularly in the Middle East, Far East, West Asia, Indian Ocean and Australia. This includes popular cities served by Emirates’ A380s such as Kuwait, Jeddah, Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Mumbai, Sydney and Melbourne.,” said Orhan Abbas, Emirates Senior Vice-President Commercial Operations for Africa. “Algeria will become the fourth destination in north Africa to have a daily frequency, along with Casablanca, Tunis and Khartoum.”

Algeria is an important destination in Emirates’ North African network. Emirates launched services to Algiers on 1st March 2013. In less than five years, the route has carried over half a million passengers and nearly 27,000 tonnes of cargo to date.

The country is home to a rich variety of architecture and a vibrant cultural scene with a diverse heritage of Phoenician, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and French influences. It boasts some of the world’s most spectacular coastlines as well as vast mountainous and desert landscapes.

As with all Emirates flights, customers travelling to and from Algeria can access more than 2500 channels of visual and audio entertainment on the airline’s award winning ice system, featuring the latest movies, music, audio books and games, as well as family friendly products and services for children, including complimentary toys, kids’ meals and movies, priority boarding for families and the use of free strollers at Dubai International Airport.

In addition to the on-board comforts and products, customers will experience the world famous hospitality from Emirates’ multinational cabin crew while enjoying regional and international cuisine, as well as complimentary beverages. They will also enjoy Emirates baggage allowance of up to 30kg in Economy Class, 40 kg in Business Class and 50kg in First Class. The additional services also provide more opportunities for members of Skywards, the award-winning frequent flyer programme of Emirates airline, to earn Skywards Miles on their travel.

The new flight will depart Dubai as EK757 at 0810hrs and arrive in Algiers at 1240hrs. The return flight EK758 will depart Algiers at 1510hrs and arrive in Dubai at 0040hrs the next day.
