Central Industries PLC, the reputed manufacturer and distributor of ‘National PVC’ pipes and fittings, and ‘Krypton’ electrical switches and sockets has appointed Mr. Mayura Rupatunge to the Board as Director/CEO with effect from 11th August 2020. Mr. Rupatunge has been associated with the Company since September 2016 when he was appointed as General Manager and thereafter as Chief Executive Officer from October 2017.
He counts over 20 years experience in the manufacturing industry having previously served in several other prestigious organizations in senior management positions.
He graduated from the University of Peradeniya with a BSc. (Eng) Degree from the Faculty of Engineering. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management from the Faculty of Graduate Studies of the University of Colombo.
