In today’s interconnected world, where working across borders and stepping beyond the traditional office setup have become game changers for professionals, 99x is committed to creating opportunities for its talent to thrive in the evolving global tech landscape.

One such opportunity took place recently where a team of 99x employees travelled to Haugesund, Norway to engage with their longstanding partner, RamBase by Hatteland for an intensive week of workshops, strategic discussions and hands-on innovation marking another successful chapter in a 12-yearlong collaboration.

The focus of this visit was to present how Generative AI could enhance RamBase’s ERP solutions, a field where 99x’s team has been pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. The team delivered insightful presentations showcasing AI-driven solutions, including intelligent workflow automation, proactive bug resolution, and secure coding practices.

Samudra Kanankearachchi, Technical Director at 99x presented, how Generative AI can optimise complex workflows through intelligent automation, while Sahan Jayasinghe Associate Tech Lead, 99x delved into AI-driven code generation, highlighting its efficiency in software development. Obhasha Priyankara Technical Lead, 99x showcased AI-powered proactive log analysis and automated bug resolution techniques, Hashan Wanniarachchi, Associate Technical Architect, 99x highlighted how Generative AI is assisting in upgrading development frameworks, and Sachith Jayasinghe, Tech Lead, 99x emphasised the importance of secure coding practices in AI-driven environments. Beyond technical knowledge, this visit provided a deepened understanding of global market trends allowing team members stay ahead of the curve in technological advancements. The team also explored the scenic Røvær islands, hiked through Norway’s icy landscapes, and engaged in friendly competition at a bowling night.

Ragnar Wilk Johansen, Developer at RamBase Cloud ERP stated, “When you meet up in person and do team building, you learn to know each other better in a way that Teams and online meetings cannot cover. This will improve your communication skills as a team as you get a better understanding of each other, and you will work more efficiently.”

The trip allowed employees to immerse themselves in Norwegian culture, offering a balanced work experience. They gained a deeper understanding of different work styles and communication methods that helped them approach challenges with fresh perspectives.

As 99x continues to grow and innovate, the company remains focused on providing its employees with opportunities to collaborate globally, driving both personal and professional development.
