The Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka (APB) recently hosted a successful Bank Coordinators’ Event at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo. The occasion served to recognise the vital role played by coordinators in building and maintaining strong links between the Association and its member institutions. The evening brought together representatives from across the banking sector, celebrating their efforts and strengthening the collaborative spirit that emphasises the APB’s initiatives.
In his opening remarks, President of the APB, Mr. Anton Arumugam acknowledged the importance of these coordinators in advancing the Association’s mission. As a senior banker, Mr. Arumugam highlighted the ongoing efforts of Bank Coordinators towards building professional cohesion within the industry.
“Our coordinators are not just liaisons, they are ambassadors who champion the values, initiatives, and professional standards of the APB within their banks. They serve a vital role in linking our institutions together, so that we can achieve greater things as a collective industry that supports the growth aspirations of our nation and its people.”, explained Mr Arumugam.
