The Sec-General of JAAF Mr. Tuli Cooray has urged all members to ensure their employee’s covid-19 vaccination is saved in “digital format” and present them as “proof of vaccination” whenever required.
The digital format has been necessitated to avoid loss of any piece of vital information of the vaccinated employee due to card being defaced or damaged due to frequent use or to use the virtual card as a back -up in case card is reported loss, he said
From January all new issues of Ransalu Privilege Cards will have a QR code printed on the front panel and when scanned will show a true image of the Covid-19 Vaccination Card issued by the medical authorities

We are not sure how the vaccine card authentication process is supposed to work, but we are making ourselves ready for it, Jumar pointed out.
The Apparel Sector is the largest industrial employer which has a combined workforce of around 450,000. This is a significant number and having them on a digital base will encourage employers with large worker database to follow suite Jumar added.
Ours is an open-source program which can be widely used over any type of QR code readers Jumar explained.
