Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC) hosted its annual Pinnacle Awards ceremony on the 5th of April 2025 at Hilton Colombo, honoring outstanding performers across its Commercial Function for their exceptional contributions over the past year.
The event served as a tribute to excellence, dedication, and high performance, recognizing individuals who went above and beyond to drive results and embody CTC’s Values in 2024.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the ‘Trade Marketing Executive of the Year 2024’ award, which was awarded to Hashan Wijesekara, in recognition of his executional excellence, and consistent results. Among the other notable awards, Yohan Jayasinghe was named ‘Emerging Trade Marketing Executive of the Year’, showcasing promise and rapid development in the field. Binura Wijeratne was recognized as First Runner-up, while Shamail Amit was awarded Second Runner-up in this prestigious category. The award for the ‘Most Outstanding Assistant Manager of the Year in Marketing’ was presented jointly to Buddima Wickramarathne and Nadeeshani Karandana.
