Dell Technologies Sri Lanka, recently hosted the annual Partner Awards ceremony at the Anantara Kalutara Resort. Attended by regional Dell Technologies representatives, including Anothai Wettayakorn, Vice President of Asia Emerging Markets and South Asia Consumer Business, Chee Wei Chue, Senior Director & General Manager, AEM Channel and Chrishan Fernando, Country Manager, Sri Lanka & Maldives and the Dell Technologies Sri Lanka team, the ceremony recognized the outstanding performance of Dell Technologies Partners in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, spanning across both consumer and commercial markets last year.
The event was also a platform for Dell Technologies Sri Lanka to highlight the company’s strong overall performance in the last financial year – sharing market insights as well as future plans for partners in the coming year and beyond.
A key highlight of the evening was the inspiring speech delivered by special guest speaker, Dilantha Malagamuwa, the Sri Lankan representative in international motor racing, in which he emphasized the similarities between the sport of motor racing and running a successful business – titled “Speed and Security”.
The ceremony saw a total of 37 awards conferred on best performing partners, which included, Dell Consumer Business Partner of the Year FY19 – Unity Systems Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Dell EMC Commercial Business Partner of the Year FY19 – Avian Technologies (Pvt) Ltd , Dell EMC Distributor of the Year FY19: Consumer– Singer Sri Lanka PLC and Dell Client Solutions Group Business Partner FY19: Sri Lanka – Softlogic Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd
