Dissanayaka Enterprises and Zigo Detergents, a leader in the manufacture of disinfectants and cleaning agents in the country, was awarded the Bronze Award in the Industry Sector (Medium Scale) at the Sabaragamuwa Industry Excellence 2023 Awards organised by the Sabaragamuwa Chamber of Commerce with the support of the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA). The Managing Director of the company, Mr. D.H.D. Dilshan received the award.
With over a decade of experience in the field of disinfectants and cleaners, Dissanayaka Enterprises and Zigo Detergents, has previously received five awards at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Industry Excellence Awards. They have also been recognised twice in the award ceremonies organised by the Sabaragamuwa University. The company’s product range includes all disinfectants and cleaning agents required for homes, hotels, cleaning agencies, car services and car washes. Several products including Dish Wash, Hand Wash, Fabric Conditioner, Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Tile Cleaner, Floor Cleaner, Pine Oil, Clorex, Washing Liquid, Air Freshener, Towel Freshener, Car Wash, Engine Under Wash, Glass Cleaner, Super Shine, Tyre Polish, Engine Wash and disinfectant liquids produced from cinnamon oil and citrus oil are available under the Zigo brand. Notable among their products is the Engine Wash Liquid with Polish, which is used for servicing hybrid vehicles.
