Hameedia’s Envoy London puts Sri Lanka on global fashion map with Mr England 2021 partnership

04th October 2021, Colombo: Envoy London, Sri Lanka’s international brand and the premier brand of Hameedia that is synonymous with style and quality, collaborated with Mr England 2021 as the “Official Clothing Partner”.

This is the third consecutive year Envoy London partnered with the Mr England competition where the winner will be presented with a brand new wardrobe which will be chosen when he flies down to meet Managing Director of Envoy London Fouzul Hameed and his team in Sri Lanka. During the last Mr England competition, Envoy London gifted a number of fabulous outfits and suits to the winner, Jack Eyers, 1st runner up Jack Hesselwood and 2nd runner up Zac Oldershow.

This year the contest was held virtually for the most part due to the ongoing pandemic and the Grand Finale was held at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in the Midlands on the 27th of August. Liam Ulla (27), who is the founder of the non-profit Coacoara Foundation and a champion kite surfer was crowned “Mr England 2021” while Lewis Hussle (30), a former finalist on Alan Sugar’s BBC Apprentice, won the public vote and the 1st runner up title. Jake Mathot (23), a talented singer, songwriter, and musician representing Liverpool was declared the winner of the sports round and the second runner up.

Mr England helps pick England’s only entry to the Mr World competition where he will compete for the coveted Mr World title against competitors from all over the world. Back in August 2019, Jack Heslewood, who was originally the runner-up in Mr England 2017, won Mr World 2019 held in Manila Philippines. In 2015, Envoy London Brand Ambassador Christopher Bramell visited Sri Lanka where he spent time at the men’s lifestyle store Envoy Mansion and joined the Envoy Concept Fashion Show. Similarly, Jack Eyers visited Sri Lanka in 2017/2019 with 1st runner up Jack Heslewood, who won Mr World in 2019, and 2nd runner up Zac Oldershaw. Jack and his deputies visited Envoy Mansion and showcased the new collection at the Concept Fashion Show.
