ICSB Celebrated the 54th Independence Day of Bangladesh

Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) observed the 54th Independence Day of Bangladesh with due solemnity and significance. The Dhaka Regional Chapter (DRC) Sub Committee of ICSB organized the programme. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag in the morning. A special discussion session was held on 26 March 2024 on Independence Day. A good number of members discussed about the Independence of Bangladesh.


Mr. Mohammad Asad Ullah FCS, President of ICSB showed profound respect and discussed about the sacrifice of the martyrs of the Great War of Liberation in 1971. He also mentioned that, with the contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh and the Father of the Nation, Bangladesh has found a place on the map of the world.
Mr. Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer of ICSB and Chairman of DRC welcomed all the members for attending on the special day. He presented an audiovisual (AV) on the significance of our Independence. He positively remembered the impact of the martyrs on our independence. He expressed his feeling that “Bangabandhu means Bangladesh, Bangladesh means Bangabandhu” and without the presence of Bangabandhu Bangladesh would not have got independence.
Mr. M Nurul Alam FCS, Senior Vice President, Mr. A. K. M. Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice President, Mr. Oli Kamal FCS, Council Member, Prof. Dr. Feroz Iqbal Faruque FCS, Ms. Suraiya Parveen FCS, Mr. Md. Abul Fazal ACS discussed about the significance of the Independence Day of Bangladesh. Members of DRC, Fellow and Associate Members of the Institute and officials of ICSB were present.
After the discussion session, special prayer were organized for the eternal peace of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family and all the departed soul of the martyrs.
Mr. Sheikh Azizul Haque ACS, Member Secretary of DRC moderated the entire programme and Mr. Mohammed Quamruzzaman Khan ACS, Member of DRC delivered a vote of thanks on behalf of the Institute
