MoU between Dhaka University and Nanjing University signed

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dhaka University (DU) and Nanjing University, China was signed 12 May 2025 Monday at the VC’s meeting room of DU. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan and Chair of Nanjing University CPC Council Prof. Tan Tieniu signed the MoU on behalf of their respective university.

 



 

Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Deans of different faculties and delegation members from Nanjing University were present on the occasion.
According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Nanjing University will work together to promote academic and research activities. They will jointly conduct various researches including scientific ones. Besides, these two universities will exchange academic information, materials and publications as well as faculty members, students and researchers. They will jointly organize seminar, symposium and conference.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan thanked the Nanjing University authorities for signing the MoU. He said, the friendly relationship between Bangladesh and China has been prevailing for long years. Existing friendly ties between the two countries will be strengthened further through this MoU, he hoped. He stressed the need for undertaking more collaborative academic and research programs among Dhaka University and different Chinese universities to enhance people to people connection of these two countries.
