The Sri Lanka-China Business Co-operation Council (SLCBCC), the pioneering bilateral business council, proudly announces the official re-launch of the SLCBCC Business Star Awards 2025.
The launch event is held today, 30th May 2025, at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo, marking the revival of this prestigious awards ceremony after a lapse since 2018.
Themed “Forging New Frontiers: Celebrating Excellence in Sri Lanka-China Partnership,” the Business Star Awards 2025 is set to recognize and honour the outstanding achievements of Sri Lankan businesses and individuals who have significantly contributed towards fostering trade, investment, and collaboration with China.
Speaking at the launch, the leadership of the SLCBCC emphasized the growing potential of Sri Lanka-China business ties and the importance of acknowledging the trail blazers across various sectors who have shown exemplary performance, resilience, and innovation.
The awards will cover five business categories—Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small, and Micro—across different sectors, allowing diverse enterprises from all regions and industries to participate and gain national recognition.
The grand awards night is scheduled to take place on 28th November 2025 at the Radisson Blue Galadari Hotel Colombo. With expanded media outreach, enhanced glamour, and renewed interest from the business community, the 2025 edition is poised to be the most dynamic and inclusive ceremony to date.
Applications are now open to all businesses engaged in trade, investment, services, or collaborations with China. The SLCBCC invites eligible entities to apply and be a part of this glittering celebration of excellence and partnership.
