Sysco LABS’ Sumith Rohana represents Sri Lanka at Merdeka Cup Malaysia 2023

Sumith Rohana of Sysco LABS Sri Lanka represented Sri Lanka at the Merdeka Cup 2023 in Malaysia as part of the Mercantile Table Tennis Association (MTTA) delegation.

The tournament featured Sri Lanka’s men’s and women’s MTTA teams competing against Malaysian state teams in an action-packed five-day showdown. Sumith competed as part of Sri Lanka MTTA’s Men’s Team D, alongside Chanaka Perera from Fillorie, Inc., and Kasun Punchihewa from MillenniumIT ESP. They secured the 1st runner-up spot in the Plate Championship of the tournament, contributing to Sri Lanka being the overall champions.”
