The Staff of Siyapatha Finance show off their skills at the Finance House Sports Fiesta

This year’s Finance House Sports Fiesta saw the staff of Siyapatha Finance PLC walk away with a number of accolades, bringing pride to themselves as well as the organization. Initiated by the Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka, the Sports Fiesta is held on an annual basis to preset members of the finance sector with the chance to enjoy a day of fun, sports, entertainment and fellowship. The FHA Sports Festival 2019 was organized by Siyapatha Finance PLC along with the FHASL under the guidance of the Chairman of the Sports Committee – Mr. Ananda Seneviratne, the Managing Director of Siyapatha Finance PLC, and Mr. Roshan Abeygoonewardena, the Chairman of the FHASL.

Held recently at the Bloomfield Grounds, the fiesta was made up of a number of activities including Cricket, Rugby, Athletics, Volleyball, Netball, and an FHA King and Queen Competition. This year’s FHA King is from Siyapatha Finance, while the runner-up is also an employee of the same organization. The Siyapatha Team secured the runner-up prize at the Women’s Cricket tournament while the Best Female Cricketer Award went to a member of the Siyapatha Finance staff.

Mr. S. R. Attygalle, the Deputy Governor of Central Bank Sri Lanka (CBSL) and Mr. W. Ranaweera, the Director of Supervision of Non-Bank Finance Institutions at CBSL were the chief guests at the occasion. The Managing Directors and CEOs of the other finance companies were also present at the FHA Sports Fiesta 2019.

“It was a great opportunity for Siyapatha Finance to organize the Finance House Sports Fiesta this year. Through the combined efforts of the staff of Siyapatha Finance and the members of the FHA Sports Committee, the fiesta was a tremendous success and I could not be prouder of the performance of our staff members”, said Mr.  Ananda Seneviratne, the Managing Director of Siyapatha Finance.
