Carey Baptist College, more commonly known as Carey College is a school dedicated to delivering the best quality education to students through the practical nature. It is also the only Baptist school in Sri Lanka where one can experience diversity and multi-ethnicity at its prime.

In today’s ever changing world of technological advancements, it’s a guaranteed fact that students who possess not only the proper education skills, but also the innovation that can lead the future, are likely to become the masters of their career. With this being said, we cannot exclude the fact that young students, at a time where technology advances rapidly are the ones who learn new things and become more innovative and creative with the technology.

This is where the students of Carey College stand out among the rest of the students. They have taken the steps to organize an event with insight into the modern advances in the tech industry from expertise in the relevant fields. “Intelliro 2017”, organized by ICT Society of Carey College, under the presidency of Yohan De Silva, will be held on the 16th of October 2017 at the main auditorium of Carey College.

“Intelliro 2017” will contain an action-packed agenda ranging from software development to robotics and everything in between. These are all key aspects of Artificial intelligence that defines the modern technology and opens a pathway for students to witness tech industry and the tech society.

The pre-event of Intelliro ’17 was held on the 3rd of October 2017 from 2:00 p.m. onwards at the Carey College main auditorium with Edulink International Campus acting as the primary and principal sponsor. This was the first time in College history that a Robotic workshop was conducted as a prequel to an event of this scale. It was a proud moment for the ICT society of Carey College as they proudly announce that this workshop groomed many students for a future in robotics.

In conclusion, the ICT society would like to emphasize the fact that an event of this kind would unquestionably augment the level of knowledge amongst many students in Sri Lanka. The ICT society of Carey College would like to invite all students who are interested in IT to participate in Intelliro ’17. You can contact Yohan De Silva on 071 44 30 838.
