Reflecting its unwavering pursuit of operational excellence and innovation, New Anthoney’s Feeds Limited proudly secured two Gold Awards at the recent National Convention on Quality and Productivity (NCQP) 2025, hosted by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Quality & Productivity (SLAAQP) at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.

This national-level recognition celebrates New Anthoney’s Feeds’ bold approach to driving transformation across its production and quality assurance processes. The Gold Awards were won in the categories of Cross-Functional Teams and Quality Improvement Projects, two highly competitive segments that honour organizations demonstrating measurable progress in lean operations, waste reduction, and process excellence.

NCQP 2025, themed “Beyond Boundaries: Quality, Productivity, and Innovation for Market Competitiveness”, brought together over 400 teams from more than 70 companies across the country. The convention served as a dynamic platform for organizations to showcase their achievements in process optimization, innovation, and productivity enhancements.

“At New Anthoney’s, we don’t just raise chickens, we raise standards,” said Neil Suraweera, CEO of New Anthoney’s Group. “These wins reflect our deep-rooted commitment to innovation, science-led best practices, and the power of cross-disciplinary teamwork in building a healthier and more sustainable food system for Sri Lanka and beyond.”

The double Gold awards also pave the way for New Anthoney’s Feeds to represent Sri Lanka on the international stage at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) 2025 in Taiwan, well reflecting the company’s growing influence and leadership in transforming the local agri-food industry through high-impact quality initiatives and scientific rigor.

Backed by a robust framework of certifications including FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, and HACCP among various others, New Anthoney’s is redefining poultry nutrition and feed safety standards in Sri Lanka. Its focus on antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and ethically produced chicken begins with the feed, engineered with precision, care, and collaboration from a multidisciplinary team of food scientists, nutritionists, and quality engineers.

Further elevating its commitment to responsible nutrition, New Anthoney’s Feeds integrates sustainably sourced U.S. Soy into its feed formulations, a strategic decision backed by rigorous traceability, verified sustainable farming practices, and superior nutrient profiles. As the first company in South Asia to choose U.S. Soy, the company not only enhances the quality of its poultry feed but also aligns with global sustainability benchmarks for climate-smart agriculture, soil health, and water use efficiency.

As New Anthoney’s Feeds Limited gears up to showcase its award-winning innovations on the global stage, the company reinforces its unwavering commitment to pioneering a safer, cleaner, and smarter future for poultry and protein production, right from the very first grain. Backed by internationally recognized standards, New Anthoney’s Feeds is certified with ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems and ISO 22000:2018 for food safety management, showcasing its dedication to excellence, traceability, and transparency across the supply chain. These certifications reflect the company’s holistic approach to sustainable feed production and its role in elevating industry benchmarks, both locally and globally.
