In a bid to foster a climate resilient economy, Amana Bank has partnered with the inaugural Code Red Sri Lanka Climate Summit 2024, as one of its sponsors. The summit, spearheaded by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, is a significant initiative aimed at developing a deeper understanding of various aspects of the climate crisis from a global and a Sri Lankan perspective, highlighting the potential disruptions to key economic sectors. The summit will explore innovative technologies and solutions to address climate crisis, which will present and unlock business opportunities for Sri Lankan companies.

 



 

The three day summit, from 7 to 9 May, will witness 50+ speakers including over 15 foreign delegates across 15 thought provoking sessions, sharing their views and creating dialogue that will help the development of a climate action blue print while also discussing on the policy changes required to support a transition towards a low carbon and climate resilient economy.  In addition to the regular plenary sessions, an exclusive CEO Forum will take centre stage bringing together the country’s leading CEOs and business owners to deepen their understanding and integrate climate action to their business decisions. The summit will be inaugurated by His Excellency President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
