A new year calls for new winners and so it is that more than 2,600 people from every district of Sri Lanka are celebrating their inclusion in Ceylinco Life’s latest ‘Family Savari’ winners list, entitling them to overseas holidays and local excursions in 2020.

While five families from Ambalangoda, Colombo North (two families) Nattandiya and Nelliady have won the top prize of an all-expenses-paid holiday in Amsterdam, Netherlands, 50 more families have won a holiday in Singapore, 100 families an excursion by train to Kandy with an overnight stay at a star-class hotel, and 500 more families have been selected for a day of fun and frolic at the Leisure World theme park.

The largest and longest-running promotion in Sri Lanka’s insurance sector, Ceylinco Life Family Savari benefits 655 policyholders and their family members in its 13th edition – 2,620 people in total. The overseas holidays and local excursions will take place in the first half of this year.

Intended to stimulate interest in life insurance, encourage policyholders to keep their policies active and to promote the value of family time and unity, the Family Savari programme has benefitted more than 26,000 people in the past 12 years. Grand-prize winning families at previous Family Savari promotions have visited Australia, Italy, England, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and France, while other winners have toured China, Dubai and Singapore.

All active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders, holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Plans and new policyholders who purchase a policy during the promotion period, pay three months’ premium and keep their policies active are eligible to win these holidays. Depending on the size of their policies or the balances in their Retirement Plans, some policyholders would be eligible to qualify for the draws for all four categories of prizes.

Emphasising the value of loyalty, policyholders receive one additional winning chance for every year they have been with Ceylinco Life, up to a maximum of 15 winning chances for those who have been active policyholders of the company. Additionally, policyholders who have paid a minimum of three premiums using direct payment methods (such as bank standing orders) receive an additional winning chance.

Ceylinco Life’s Family Savari programme is promoted by four popular brand ambassadors, the Sri Lankan actors Sriyantha Mendis, Sanjeewani Weerasinghe and Roshan Ranawana and his wife Kushlani who join policyholders on their overseas holidays and local excursion.

The market leader in Sri Lanka’s life insurance industry for 16 of the 32 years it has been in operation, Ceylinco Life has close to a million lives covered by active policies and is acknowledged as a benchmark in the local insurance industry for innovation, product research and development, customer service, professional development and corporate social responsibility.

Ceylinco Life was adjudged Sri Lanka’s most valuable life insurance brand by Brand Finance in 2019, ranked among the 10 ‘Most Admired Companies’ in the country by the ICCSL in the same year, named the Best Life Insurer in Sri Lanka for the sixth consecutive year in 2019 by World Finance, and has also been declared the most popular life insurance company in the country for the past 13 years by SLIM-Nielsen.
