Grand Opening Ceremony Marks the Inauguration of UBT Campus Colombo Head Office

Today, UBT Campus proudly announces the grand opening of its Colombo head office, signalling a significant milestone in its commitment to providing accessible, quality education to students and professionals across Sri Lanka. The inauguration ceremony, held at 320 1/ 1, R A De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 03, marks the beginning of a new era for the UBT Campus in offering diverse educational programs catering to individuals seeking to advance their knowledge and skills.

 



 

Dr Hassan Basri Jahubar Sathik, Senior Director of Academic Affairs at the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding prestige and honour to the event. Joined by a distinguished team including S. Thowfeek Ahamed, Co-Founder of UBT Campus, Mr PT Mohamed Niyas, the CEO of  UBT Campus, Mr H Abdul Saththar-Director Academic Affairs also joined the occasion, symbolising the collective dedication and vision of  UBT Campus towards educational excellence.

Under the guidance of this esteemed team, UBT Campus has embarked on a journey to offer comprehensive programs in Healthcare, Business, IT, and Engineering, ranging from certificate level to PhD. This strategic initiative reflects UBT Campus’s commitment to addressing diverse educational needs and fostering holistic development among its students.

Since its inception in 2013 with the establishment of IGK, dedicated to addressing the educational needs of the eastern region, UBT Campus has recognized the challenges faced by students in accessing higher education, particularly in remote areas. The foundation of the UBT Campus in 2017 laid the groundwork for a transformative leap in higher education, ushering in a new era of educational empowerment and regional development.

UBT Campus Colombo’s head office is poised to become a hub of educational excellence, offering a wide array of programs in collaboration with esteemed institutions such as Cyberjaya University Malaysia and UK universities. With a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, innovation, and excellence, UBT Campus aims to foster a community where every student is equipped to succeed, contribute, and make a difference globally.
