Locally-developed Eco Balm launches range of specialised products

Aims 25% market share by H1 2019

 Eco Balm, a locally-developed range of balm products manufactured by Eco Ceylon Global (Pvt) Ltd, was launched into the Sri Lankan market today at an event in Colombo. The product range is set to be distributed at selected outlets within the suburbs of Colombo prior to expanding island-wide during the next few months.

Eco Balm is manufactured using a combination of some of Sri Lanka’s heritage herbs that are intrinsic to the country, with the aim of producing an even better alternative to other locally-manufactured balms. It has been developed using ingredients such as menthol, camphor, clove, cajuput, peppermint and eucalyptus oils, all of which have been infused to produce a high-quality product. Through extensive research, Eco Balm has been specially-designed to relieve nerve endings by giving off a double effect through a cooling and heating sensation guaranteeing to heal the affected areas swiftly. The product has been developed with a refreshing aroma producing outstanding results according to the company research team.

The range of products introduced to the market include Eco Balm Red, Eco Balm White, Eco Balm Oil and  a Mosquito Repellent Spray which are targeted at the well being of all Sri Lankans. Eco Balm Red is a strong, warmer and comforting ointment designed to relieve back pains, muscular aches, sprains, cramps, insect bites and a host of other common ailments while Eco Balm White is a mild balm designed to give quick relief for these same ailments. Eco Balm Oil comes in liquid form and provides easy application over larger areas of the body where pain could be widespread. Eco Balm has also introduced a Mosquito Repellent Spray, which has been manufactured using ingredients such as natural eucalyptus oil, citronella and lemongrass, and has been proven to be effective against persistent mosquitoes in local households.
