Over 70,000 tourist arrivals in December: SLTDA

Around 70,000 tourists arrived in Sri Lanka in December, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). Dhammika Wijesinghe, Director-General of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, said that most tourists arrived from India, England, Germany, Russia, the United States, and Australia. In addition, she said a rise in the number of tourists visiting the country has been observed. Approximately 80,000 tourists are expected to visit the country in January 2022, according to SLTDA Director General Wijesinghe.  #SriLankaTourism #TouristArrivals #SriLanka
