A renowned Ayurvedic product manufacturing company in the country, Siddhaushadha Pvt. Ltd., was awarded as the Best Ayurvedic Brand of the Year at Golden Inmediens Awards 2023, while their Neelyadi Hair Oil was awarded as the Most Popular Herbal Hair Oil of the Year. The awards were received by the Company’s Managing Director, A. A. Harshula Chaturanga Wijesundara. The Golden Inmediens Awards, an event dedicated to fostering and celebrating indigenous medical entrepreneurship, took place recently at the Water’s Edge Hotel in Battaramulla. Siddhaushadha was established in 1968 by Ayurvedic practitioner A.D.C. Wijesundara, affectionately known as “Podi Ralahami.” He was a nephew of the late Prof. G.P. Wickramarachchi, a respected Ayurvedic practitioner who founded the Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya in Gampaha, an institution that has produced thousands of Ayurvedic practitioners over the years. The Company has provided employment opportunities to more than 100 as of present.

It was graced by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Sisira Jayakody, along with other distinguished guests, including Cabinet and State Ministers and senior Government officials.
